Over the past few years many university's have taken advantage of You Tube and other internet sites, to share lectures from various courses as well as professional conferences. I applaud these schools for their unselfish visionary and global perspective on education! For nursing this is potentially a gold mine of resources. Some of these videos are great to be used during class time to stimulate discussion and others are valuable for students to view prior to class. Having this form of media added to assignments in online courses is also an excellent way to expand the student's resources for learning. Unfortunately, it can take many hours of faculty time to screen these videos for their appropriateness in a particular course. I have done some of this screening for you!
